548 Marjan takes its name from the founder's childhood home.

The founder's father worked in the energy industry, applying time-series and spectral analysis to seismic data to infer subsurface structures associated with potential hydrocarbon deposits.

The work demonstrated an enduring principle: complex problems become tractable when they are decomposed into smaller questions and examined with the appropriate methods.

That principle underpins 548 Marjan's approach to decision science. We frame the decision, isolate the relevant uncertainties, and integrate evidence across disciplines to improve the decisions that shape our clients' businesses.
